"Yoga" solution for health hazards of Law enforcement agency personnel

The WHO Global Plan of Action on Workers' Health emphasis on improving the diagnosis, reporting and registration of occupational diseases. In this book we recommended workplace design reforms which can improve occupational health of police so that the policing can be referred as less stressful and less complicated service. This book put light on physical health profile and psychosocial factors of work environment in Traffic police. It was found that both physical health and psychosocial factors were matter of concern. Suryanamaskara can be adopted without any extra financial burden on administration. Healthy living workshop showed great success as awareness program, where momentum for health promotion was built up. Thus frequent tips of healthy living may act as precursor for proactive lifestyle. Both the programs are easy to implement without sophisticated instruments.
