He detailed his early years to me as he helped me learn the dialect and language of Ascora, as well as teaching me a thing or two of magic to keep myself safe during my travels.A World Afar: Tales from the World of Ascora is set in the mythical land of Ascora, a world completely different than that of our own. From different races, such as the Alva or Hizzike, to magic and adventure, Ascora is a world of wonder and mystery. The stories are based upon those that I met during my travels to Ascora, my personal adventures that led me to meet a wide variety of people and creatures, each happy to share stories of themselves and events they encountered or witnessed.This is the first of those stories, though not the first you need to read.
