"Willow and the Whispering Tent"

Willow and the Whispering Tent
A gentle, trauma-informed children's counselling book for ages 5-11
"I didn't know what a counsellor was. But the tent helped me find out."
Willow has big feelings and lots of questions. In the whispering tent, she learns that counselling is a safe space-where talking, drawing, or simply sitting quietly is all okay.
This beautifully illustrated therapeutic storybook helps children understand what counselling is, how it works, and what they can expect. Written by a trauma-informed children's counsellor, it introduces key concepts like emotional safety, confidentiality, and choice through Willow's gentle voice.
Perfect for use in therapy sessions, classrooms, waiting rooms, or home reading, Willow and the Whispering Tent supports children navigating grief, anxiety, loss, or emotional overwhelm. It's a practical resource for child therapists, play therapists, school counsellors, and parents supporting children's mental health.
