Where Is My Miracle? Challenges one of the most familiar-and frequently misunderstood-teachings of Jesus: "If you have faith as a mustard seed...nothing will be impossible for you" (Matthew 17:20). For generations, many Christians have been taught that faith "the size of" a mustard seed can move mountains. Yet when their mountains remain unmoved, they are left discouraged, confused, and wondering whether miracles are still possible.
This book argues that the problem does not lie with Jesus' promise or the believer's desire to trust Him. The problem begins with a misleading translation that inserts the words "the size of," directing attention to the mustard seed's small beginning while neglecting what Jesus repeatedly emphasized: its extraordinary growth. The mustard seed does not remain tiny. Planted in the proper environment and subjected to the laws of growth, it develops into a mature plant capable of fulfilling its intended purpose.
Using careful biblical analysis, Where Is My Miracle? reexamines the translation, interpretation, and application of Matthew 17:20. It places Jesus' statement within the immediate context of the disciples' failure to deliver a suffering boy and His rebuke of their unbelief. Their failure was not presented as proof that miracles had ceased or that God was unwilling to act. Instead, Jesus exposed the inadequacy of their faith and pointed them toward the kind of developed, tested, and persistent faith that can confront seemingly impossible problems.
The book then traces the seed-to-tree process through ten laws: environment, planting, germination, incubation, nutrition, persistence, specificity, expectation, purpose, and harvest. Each law illustrates how faith must be cultivated before it can bear mature fruit.
Throughout Scripture, miracles begin where human ability ends. Mountains represent circumstances people cannot overcome through natural strength, wisdom, or resources. Where Is My Miracle? restores hope by showing that believers need not remain trapped in immature faith or passive resignation. Jesus' words are not an excuse for unanswered prayer but an invitation to spiritual growth.
This book calls Christians to stop measuring the smallness of the seed and begin developing the strength of the tree-to cultivate a mature faith capable of standing before mountains and trusting God for what appears impossible.
