Travelling with Mr Sloth

Join Mr Sloth and Stretch the Giraffe on a gentle, funny, and fact-filled journey through Germany.
Mr Sloth may travel slowly, but that helps him notice wonderful details that others miss. In Book 47 of the Travelling with Mr Sloth series, he explores Berlin and the Brandenburg Gate, follows the Rhine past vineyards and riverside castles, walks through the Black Forest, admires Neuschwanstein Castle, and discovers the lakes and flower meadows of the Bavarian Alps.
Along the way, children learn about German geography, wildlife, rivers, forests, mountains, food, language, architecture, music, craft, history, and community life. Mr Sloth practises simple German phrases, makes a paper timber-framed town house, completes a Germany fact file, and collects a special Germany passport stamp for the Mr Sloth World Passport.
This warm educational travel adventure combines geography, culture, reading, creative activities, and emotional confidence. It is suitable for independent reading, shared family reading, classroom topic work, home education, school libraries, travel learning, and curious children who enjoy discovering the world.
