Transmission Electron Microscopy presents the theory of image andcontrast formation, and the analytical modes in transmission electronmicroscopy. The principles of particle and wave optics of electronsare described. Electron-specimen interactions are discussed forevaluating thetheory of scattering and phase contrast.
