Vaxxed

A deeply-reported examination of why the COVID-19 vaccine terminations represent a flawed practice by American corporations, driven by the same corporate exploitation that has carried news headlines, pushing more employees into depressed labor.

You received sweet talk in the job interview but obtained sour grapes and pink slips for something basic as following through on your constitutional guarantee, your right to make personal decisions about your own bodily integrity.

In The Vaxxed: Culture War in the Workplace, Shawn A. McCastle, a preeminent voice on business, I-O psychology, inequality, labor, and non-death grief examines the gritty, posterior issues of the COVID-19 pandemic and the mass terminations that rock the United States. Told through the lived experience of McCastle as he shares his own termination and removal from two major organizations, Allied-Universal Security Services and the World Bank Group headquartered in Washington, D.C.

McCastle makes comparisons of the COVID-19 pandemic and the AIDS epidemic, showing how society is no better off today than yesterday by terminating the employment of employees who refused to provide their vaccination status or submit to COVID-19 vaccination at all.

McCastle shows how ineffective CEOs copied and pasted other corporations' policies and how the lack of corporate creativity, policies, and vision drove one of the most destructive labor practices in American history.

McCastle argues, corporations need to develop effective people strategies to minimize disruptions and friction within the workplace. McCastle also shows how organizations have been propped up by employees, but in crunch time, employees do not receive identical returns.
