The son of Latin American baseball star Perucho "The Bull" Cepeda, "The Baby Bull" hoped to surpass his father's fame in his native Puerto Rico, but he accomplished far more. This biography tells the story of the second player in major league history unanimously elected both Rookie of the Year and Most Valuable Player, in spite of the racism and alienation he experienced. It charts Cepeda's torturous route to being inducted in the National Baseball Hall of Fame.
