The Moon's Lost Button

What happens when the Moon loses a button?

One yawn too big, and pop! The Moon's button goes tumbling out of the sky. Night starts leaking all over the seaside town of Little Wobbling. Stars roll down chimneys, dreams get muddled, and the Mayor is sure he is a teapot.

Only one person can fix it: Pip Marlow, a brave and curious girl with a bobble hat and a very good idea. With a slow, wise tortoise called Sixpence and a ball of Grandma's scarlet wool, Pip sets off on a wobbling adventure to put the Moon right again.

The Moon's Lost Button is a funny, cosy picture book about kindness, bravery and fixing things with a needle, some wool and a lot of heart. It also gives a gentle, imaginative answer to the question every child asks: why does the Moon change shape?
