The Broken Sky

The Broken Sky

The Four Flocks - Book One
M.C. Lewis

Four flocks. Four territories. One forgotten secret that could destroy them all.

For generations, the Frost, Thorn, Storm, and Ember Flocks have lived under a fragile pact. Each flock guards its own territory, follows its own traditions, and trusts its neighbors only as far as necessity allows.

Then the trouble begins.

When Ravenflight, a young raven training to become a Watcher, discovers a mysterious feather bearing a strange silver mark, she begins to notice a disturbing pattern. Messages have been altered. Nests have been destroyed. Ravens have vanished, and bodies have appeared bearing symbols tied to a forgotten past.

As fear spreads through the Fourfold Reach, old rivalries become dangerous accusations. The flock leaders struggle to preserve peace while an unseen force pushes them toward conflict-and offers centralized rule as the only way to restore order.

But the growing crisis may be connected to an ancient injustice: the story of a forgotten fifth voice, silenced before its testimony could be heard.

With the help of three unlikely friends from rival flocks, Ravenflight must follow the evidence, challenge suspicion, and uncover the truth before mistrust turns into open war.

Yet the closer she comes to the secret, the more dangerous the questions become.

Who is manipulating the four flocks? Why are the old symbols appearing again? And can the truth bring peace when every flock has something to hide?

The Broken Sky is the first book in The Four Flocks, an atmospheric animal fantasy series filled with mystery, political intrigue, unlikely friendships, ancient secrets, and the struggle to protect a fragile peace.
