Ten Percent

Daniel Cross, twenty-seven and brimming with ambition, thinks he has landed the perfect job at a prestigious international financial firm. His responsibilities seem mundane: process payments, verify documents, and move money between accounts. He is the invisible engine of a growing corporate titan-until a mysterious ten-percent "performance bonus" hits his bank account.

The money feels like a reward, but it is actually a down payment on his silence. Daniel soon realizes his credentials are being used to layer massive, illicit financial transactions for a criminal underworld hidden behind corporate glass and steel. He is not the mastermind; he is simply the perfect fall guy. Caught between the promise of life-changing wealth for his struggling parents and the horrifying reality of his complicity, Daniel is forced into a deadly game of corporate cat-and-mouse. When he realizes the firm is using its own employees as sacrificial pawns, he must decide: walk away with blood on his hands, or burn the entire system to the ground and face the consequences. This is a gripping, high-stakes thriller about the cost of success, the fragility of morality, and the price of one man's soul in a world of digital shadows.
