There were moments in my life when I felt completely dead inside.

Not physically alive and emotionally struggling. I mean numb. Broken. Crushed by trauma, fear, and pain.. There were wounds people could not see and battles I did not know how to escape. I carried shame, hurt, confusion, and darkness for years while trying to keep going.

This is not a polished story from someone who had an easy life and figured everything out.

This is a raw testimony.

Talitha Koum are the words spoken by Jesus in Mark 5:41. It means, "Little girl, I say to you, arise." Jesus spoke those words to a girl everyone else believed was too far gone. Lifeless. Hopeless. Dead. Finished.

That phrase became deeply personal to me.

Because this book is about what God does when a person feels emotionally, mentally, and spiritually dead. It is about surviving trauma, walking through pain, wrestling with darkness, and discovering that God still reaches for people in the middle of brokenness.

This book does not pretend healing is instant. It does not water down suffering or fake strength. It tells the truth about pain, fear, hopelessness, and the long road of being pulled out of places that should have destroyed me.

But it also tells the truth about God.
