Strange Encounters with your Other Father

In the 1980s, Shawn Glazer and Jack Pruit traveled the US fighting monsters and homophobia. Jack passed away when their daughter was very young; to keep him alive in their daughter's memory, Shawn recounted their odd adventures to Celia, including encounters with strangers-some of whom became friends but, more often, dangerous enemies:

-A group of teenage girls who, with an unusual diet, summon forth a grotesque variation on a classic movie monster

-a spiritualist with questionable powers who misconnects them with a dreaded figure from Shawn's past

-a cloaked magician who challenges Jack to a duel in an abandoned gymnasium-although winning the battle may produce unforeseen results

The strangest encounter of all is with Dr. Bennet Sibley, the mysterious teacher of Shawn's daughter who arranges a modern-day recreation of the 1980s road trip. He professes to help Shawn and Celia connect with Jack's spirit-but he may be leading them on a pointless scavenger hunt. Or he might have something more sinister in mind.

Hop back into an uncomfortably packed VW Beetle to revisit old haunts and uncover new secrets in this exciting conclusion to the Other Father trilogy-that combines horror, humor, and heart in a unique LGBTQ+ journey.
