This book studied, explored and compared the effect of psychological and culture factors i.e. locus of control, women social freedom, comprehensive tension on stress. it further extended to study the effect of factors of stress i.e. frustration, conflict, pressure and anxiety on total stress among the female players of south west zone inter-varsity players of athletics, weight lifting, judo, badminton, swimming and table tennis, age group ranged from 18-25 years. In all 300 subjects were selected at random, 50 from each sport viz, athletics, weight lifting, judo, badminton, swimming and table tennis. Reliable and validated tools used for testing were the Rotter's locus of control scale by Dr. Anand Kumar and Dr. S.Shrivastav, Women Social Freedom scale by L.S.Bhusan, Comprehensive Scale of Tension by Rajivlochan Bhardwaj, and Bist Baterry of Stress Scale by Abha Rani.
