Principal Approved Ways to Say Things

Every teacher has two voices.

One says "Let's make a better choice." The other is thinking something very different, usually around 2:47pm on a windy Friday.

Principal Approved Ways to Say Things finally gives that second voice a seat at the table. Inside are over 220 laugh-out-loud moments from every corner of school life. Each one shows what you want to say, and the calm, professional, Principal Approved version you actually say.

You'll find:

• The classroom, recess duty and the cafeteria
• Field trips, gym class and field day
• Parent-teacher conferences and those 11pm emails
• The teachers' lounge, observations and evaluations
• Winter concerts, assemblies and the last week of school
• Bonus: the Report Card Translator, finally revealing what "energetic" really means

Packed with funny black and white illustrations, this is the perfect gift for teachers, aides, student teachers, principals and anyone who has ever survived indoor recess.

A great Christmas, Teacher Appreciation Week, end-of-year or retirement gift. Leave a copy in the teachers' lounge and watch it disappear.
