OtherLight

An astounding book with a prescription for our troubled times.

Upon returning to Palestine, Liyah learns that her younger brother, Khalib, is missing. Thinking it might be the work of local terrorists, she summons her new friends Morningstar, Zack, and Kai Li to Jerusalem, to help in the search. Things get complicated as trouble breaks out between the Israelis and Palestinians, with explosions rocking Liyah's hometown in the Gaza Strip and raising tensions throughout the region to an explosive level.

In another action-packed adventure/mystery from Bruce Campelia, the teenage heroes must work together to locate Khalib before he is lost forever. But the forces of darkness are building quickly, and a cauldron of grievances, angry parties, and evil plotters begins to boil over into the Old City of Jerusalem. Liyah must find a way to solve the riddle of how to keep her friends safe in a city that is about to implode, without losing her brother-and her heart.

The second book of the Light Passers Chronicles series, OtherLight is a completely new and unparalleled presentation of what fast-paced, reality-based fantastical thrillers can be. Expertly weaving history, culture, and hope, this book sweeps away young adults and adults alike, into a place where we witness the power we each have to create change in the world...all while keeping us on the edge of the mystery until its stunning conclusion.
