The title hints at what the books about but there's more to it than just the last wave. A lot of action, humor, strange times. Technically I think the book is a coming of age memoir. I was hoping this book might be a way I could give back to my friend surfing. I always wish I could show people how exciting and the high you get just being in the pocket of a wave and I guess this book is a way of somehow getting close. I think anyone will enjoy this book not just surfers. I hope you'll find this book a quick read and a book you keep wanting to read till the end.
