Neon-Blue Eyes

What happens when the story of Jesus Christ is told from inside the family home, the neighbourhood, the streets, and the lives of those around Him?

Neon-Blue Eyes presents the story of Jesus Christ as a full-length stage play filled with biblical characters, family conversations, rivalries, questions, faith, conflict, and humour.

Jesus appears as the Son of God with striking neon-blue eyes, surrounded by His loving mother Mary, His earthly father Joseph, Mary Magdalene, and those who support or oppose Him, including Judas, King Herod, Pontius Pilate, and Satan. As Jesus's following grows, so does the danger around Him.

Joseph's endless questions about creation and the mysteries of life lead to some of the play's most humorous moments, while family arguments over camels, carpenter's tools, and everyday life bring a surprisingly human touch to the story.

Through faith, family, humour, spiritual questions, and growing opposition, Neon-Blue Eyes offers a distinctive theatrical interpretation of the familiar story of Jesus Christ, bringing its characters into a lively and unexpected setting while ultimately leading toward the events surrounding His crucifixion.
