Welcome aboard!
Modern Poems for Modern Sailors is a collection of poetry, humor, and questionable wisdom from Seaman Timmy-written for anyone who has ever stood watch, gone underway, hit a liberty port, complained about the Navy, missed home, or somehow learned to love the insanity.
Moving from the absurd to the sincere, these poems capture life at sea as Sailors actually experience it: boredom and bullshit, friendship and loneliness, bad decisions, long nights, foreign ports, dark humor, and the strange moments of beauty that sneak through along the way.
Part poetry collection, part deployment time capsule, and part Sailor's guide to embracing the suck, Modern Poems for Modern Sailors doesn't try to romanticize Navy life. It celebrates it, mocks it, questions it, and occasionally raises a glass to it.
Complete with illustrations, Mad Libs, checklists, activities, and other distractions for the modern Sailor.
For Sailors, veterans, and anyone curious about what happens on the high seas.
