First published in 1948, as the second edition of a 1939 original, this textbook was aimed at undergraduates and discusses magnetism from an experimental standpoint rather than from a strictly theoretical one, allowing for more prominence in the description of fundamental experiments and the industrial applications of magnetic materials.
