MEOW

A Horror Novel by W. King

He was their beloved pet. Now he's their worst nightmare.

Three days ago, Rich and his little sister, Jennie, buried their beloved cat, Mittens. They thought they'd said goodbye forever.

They were wrong.

When a violent thunderstorm leaves the siblings home alone, an innocent game of hide-and-seek takes a horrifying turn. From the darkness of their basement comes a familiar meow-and something that should have stayed buried.

Mittens has returned.

But the once-adorable family pet is now a towering, clawed monstrosity with glowing eyes, a mouth full of razor-sharp teeth, and a disturbingly cheerful voice.

And he wants to play.

As their home becomes a deadly playground, Rich must protect his little sister from the creature they once loved. When T.J., Rich's handsome high school crush, arrives unexpectedly, all three find themselves trapped in a nightmare where every hiding place could become their last.

With no way to call for help and nowhere left to run, the rules are terrifyingly simple.

Hide. Don't scream. And whatever you do, don't let Mittens find you.

Because some pets refuse to stay dead.

And some games never end.
