The volume contains selected publications from the Russia-Austria-Japan Joint Workshop on Advanced Dynamics and Model Based Control of Structures and Machines. The workshop brings together scientists from Russia, Austria and Japan with an outstanding expertise in mechanics and control, completed by distinguished researchers from Germany, Italy, France and Taiwan.
