Owen is a genius in the lab. A brilliant chemist who's the brains behind the world's hottest product-Temporary Ink, a revolutionary new tattoo ink that disappears after three years. Rich, handsome, and successful-Owen could have any woman he wants. But all he wants is to be left alone.

When a magazine declares him Toronto's Most Eligible Bachelor, his meddlesome brother tries to capitalize on the event and installs an experimental AI chatbot on Owen's dating app. Love Bot promptly goes berserk, catfishing hundreds of women on his behalf, and Owen's carefully ordered life explodes overnight when dozens of women start showing up at his door. Desperate to contain the catastrophe while also trying to secure a massive business deal, Owen invents a wife-then discovers his prospective investor wants to meet her.

Faye has just ended a disastrous engagement, moved onto her sister's couch, and could really use a break from her life. So when the socially awkward coffee shop regular with the impossibly complicated order asks her to pose as his adoring new bride, she says yes. All she has to do is survive a long weekend on a billionaire's private island in Muskoka while pretending to love the most frustrating customer in the history of coffee. Can't be too hard. Right?
