Jesus

He saw the Savior born. He lived to see the empty tomb.

Daniel was a young shepherd watching over his flock outside Bethlehem when the darkness gave way to the glory of heaven. Angels proclaimed that a Savior had been born, and Daniel hurried into town, where he found Mary, Joseph, and the infant Jesus lying in a manger.
