Low strength non engineered masonry buildings are quite unsafe in case of Earthquake or Cyclone and may lead to collapse resulting in loss of life of the occupants. These buildings may not have proper foundations, load transferring members and roof. There are many such buildings in Asia, especially in South Asian countries.
