Edith Kaiser, geb. und aufgewachsen in Unterfranken, lebte in Hammelburg, in Oldenburg/Niedersachsen und seit 1989 im hessischen Dieburg. Bereits in früher Kindheit zeigte sich ihre Begabung zum Malen und Gestalten. Kunst zu studieren war ihr großer Traum. Doch das Leben stellte andere Weichen. Aus familiären Gründen blieb ein Stipendium an der Kunstakademie Amsterdam ungenutzt. Thema erledigt, dachte sie. Alles was damit zu tun hatte, wurde verbannt. Sie heiratete, bekam drei Söhne und schrieb ihre Gedanken sporadisch in kleine Verse, etliche Büttenreden und für Familienmitglieder zu besonderen Anlässen Gedichte. Doch gemalt hat sie seit damals nicht mehr. Bis ihr jüngster Sohn sich hartnäckig ein Bild wünschte. So kam eines zum anderen und bei der Überarbeitung eines Bildes entstand das Gedicht "Aus dem Dunkeln der Nacht". Daraus wiederum entwickelte sich dieser Bild & Gedichtband "Im Blick der Zeit ". Edith Kaiser hat über 40 Einzelausstellungen getätigt, eine Auslandsausstellung und ist seit 2006 im Programm des Kultur -Sommers- Südhessen.
