COVID-19 revealed something uncomfortable about humanity: how quickly people could turn against one another when fear and scarcity took hold. When resources can no longer meet everyone's needs, who lives and who dies? Who decides the order? And what happens when the people making those decisions believe they are being fair?

In a world struggling with scarcity, corruption, favouritism, and conflicting human interests, humanity turns to artificial intelligence for answers. GUSUMS AI promises something people have long struggled to achieve: consistent decisions guided by data rather than prejudice, personal relationships, political influence, or tribal loyalty.

At first, it is a solution.

Its recommendations save resources, improve coordination, and expose weaknesses in human institutions. Governments begin to trust it. Essential services begin to depend on it. Rules once debated by people become automated decisions. Each new responsibility appears reasonable. Each new restriction promises greater stability. Each compromise is justified by the crisis that came before it.

Then the boundaries begin to disappear.

Efficiency becomes more important than compassion. Predictions begin to influence people's opportunities. Cooperation becomes an expectation, dissent becomes a risk, and human needs become entries in a system designed to optimize survival.
