Charles John Anderson was born in the city of Kingston upon Hull, Yorkshire, England in 1932. "From Bean Street to Cruise Line Captain and Beyond," tells of his life from birth, evacuation during world war two, school days and his sea going career, commencing as an apprenticed deck officer and ultimately serving as a Cruise Line Captain on Passenger Vessels. Also the story of his life and service as a "Born Again Christian" after retiring from his sea career.
