The environmental crisis had reached to a stage where it had threatened the very survival of Homo sapiens, a name that attributes wisdom to us. Teacher being a vital link in an educational system can disseminate the knowledge about environment, its associated problems and their solution. But before they are engaged for this responsibility it becomes imperative to ensure their ability of coping with environmental quality related issues.
