Dur Dur-Dur is a towering orc barbarian with tremendous strength, a striking mohawk, a strong distrust of Dwarves, and a wrestler-style horseshoe mustache. Despite his intimidating appearance, he is cheerful, generous, and eager to help-although his limited reasoning often turns simple problems into much larger ones.
Dur Dur-Dur has spent years wondering what happened to his missing father. When an old package arrives containing his father's horn, a map, and a message about the mysterious Laughing Mountain, he finally discovers a trail worth following. His journey forces him to team up with Brindle Stonewise, a dwarf cartographer-particularly inconvenient because Dur Dur-Dur believes dwarves know "too many rock secrets."
His central motivation is deeply sincere: he wants to find his father and bring everyone home safely. Beneath the absurd confidence and barbarian blunders is a loyal son who refuses to believe his father is gone.
