Dreamer's Hideaway

Shaw Manor, once owned by Captain Wilbur H. Shaw, becomes the central setting where the Pender family experiences various supernatural events. The narrative begins with Gaea Pender, the daughter of Bill and Cathy, whose birthday party is marked by the arrival of her friend Victoria (Vicky) after a tragic event in Vicky's life. The Penders decide to adopt Vicky after her father's death, which adds emotional depth to the story. 

As the family settles into their new dynamic, they discover the presence of spirits within the manor. The ghost of Captain Shaw and his daughter, Rebecca, are revealed to have ties to the house, with Rebecca's tragic story unfolding through the discovery of her grave in the family cemetery. Gaea's ability to sense these spirits adds to the tension as she navigates her childhood alongside Vicky. 

Dr. Jeffery Tarpon and Dr. Mary Van Buren, marine archaeologists, play crucial roles in uncovering the history of Shaw Manor and its previous owners. Their research leads to significant findings, including Captain Shaw's deck logs and the mysterious circumstances surrounding the wreck of his ship, the Constance. The scientists' discoveries intertwine with the family's experiences, emphasizing the connection between the past and the present.

The climax builds as the Pender family confronts the evil spirit associated with the statue, leading to a series of intense events that threaten their safety. Bill and Doug's bravery in facing the supernatural challenges showcases their dedication to protecting their families. The resolution sees the family finding a way to coexist with the spirits while ensuring the safety of the children, particularly Vicky, who has become an integral part of their lives.
