In the ancient cosmos, a colossal star birthed the dragon race, a magnificent, intelligent beings who defied even the Titans. From their ranks rose Dragomir, who established a dragon empire destined to conquer heaven itself. The prophecy of a messiah who would lead dragons through heaven's gates shaped generations. Abeloth Dragomir, the greatest dragon general, fought in the Titan war, slaying Titans with his celestial weapon, Star-Eater. But he was not the prophesied one-his descendants would be.

Desperate to birth the messiah, Abeloth's son Abraxas and wife Cynane committed an atrocity: they captured a Seraphim maiden, transferred their unborn child into her divine womb, and murdered her. This child, Raziel, was born as the ascended dragon, the promised messiah. But the Seraphim, led by the golden fury Alarmire, turned against their creators and became gods. They descended on the dragon realm, slaughtering the Dragomirs. Abeloth and Raziel's seven elder siblings fell. Alarmire exiled the surviving dragons to Earth, a shielded prison world.

On Earth, the shattered Dragomirs turned to cruelty. Viserion, Raziel's closest companion, fell in love with a mortal woman. When his family threatened her, Viserion made a desperate pact with the dark Titan Solomon, cursing all Dragomirs into mad beasts. Viserion sacrificed his immortality to save his lover and child. Over centuries, Raziel created twelve Crimson Gods, powerful vampires with unique abilities. He discovered Damien, a boy of divine bloodline, and made him the Father of Vampires, the only one who could create new vampires. Through Damien, Raziel built an army. Raziel gathered his twelve generals and marched on the Dragomir capital to face his father Abraxas, now an ancient dragon. In a devastating battle, Raziel killed his father and consumed his power.

To banish the ancient dark entity Nightmare Lilly that had corrupted his father, Raziel sacrificed his twelve Crimson Gods, trapping them in her world to seal the doorway. His army turned to dust, his generals cried out curses upon his name. Raziel sat upon the Dragomir throne but as a cursed vampire, not a dragon. His corrupted blood couldn't open most of the family vaults; the starships to escape Earth remained sealed. His remaining vampires spread across the continent, creating legions of bloodthirsty immortals who preyed on humanity. Raziel retreated into endless sleep, haunted by his lost destiny, a vampire king on a dragon throne. The age of dragons had ended-not in glory, but in tragedy.
