Clutzey Cas Double Feature

The Clutzey Cas adventures are the whimsical tales of a young girl's idealistic view of the world and her determination to make her town and the world better with her Junior Police Officer badge and a little bit of magic on her side. Well, one cannot live close to New Orleans and not be exposed to the fanciful idea of magic!

Cas is a third grader growing up in a Military family in the 1970s. After her first-grade class field trip to the Silver Lake Police Station and being deemed Junior police officer, she has taken her work very seriously. She is determined to keep order and peace in her town, with her badge in hand, "What happens in this town is my business, Mister!" she exclaims to the extreme mean and green manaRex. She won't allow her street or her town to be overrun. Who can say no to that face? Those who have tried have regretted it.

If you blink twice and say," Sweet magnolias," you will have passed Silver Lake by. Yet, if you are so fortunate to wander into Silver Lake, into the hidden, overgrown maze of gardens, do not worry if you lose your way. The fireflies are happy to light your path. Just make certain you are not more naughty than nice, or you could be lost for hours. Maybe it is the jolly sound of hysterical laughter or the warm and fragrant hints of cinnamon and vanilla, with a touch of mischief riding on the wind that lure the passersby. Or like a siren's song, travelers are drawn to the faintest sounds of an enchanted melody drifting from the heart of New Orleans.
