Every church has believers. Real disciples are harder to find than most leaders want to admit - men and women who don't just agree with the gospel but have actually been apprenticed into the life Jesus described. Jesus never told His followers to gather converts. He told them to go and make disciples, and then He spent three years showing twelve ordinary, mostly unlearned men exactly what that meant, until people who watched them started calling them "little Christs."
Christian Discipleship is a direct, Scripture-grounded manual for closing that gap. It walks through the real difference between a believer and a disciple, the four stages Jesus used to build the twelve - Come and See, Follow Me, Being With Him, and Abiding - the foundations every disciple needs, the marks and the honest cost of following Christ, and the actual strategy for reproducing this in someone else, drawn from 2 Timothy 2:2 and the disciplemaking pairs that run through both Testaments. The final part turns the whole book into a nine-session discipleship course a church or small group can run together.
This isn't a book about becoming a vaguely "better Christian." It's a manual for becoming, and then making, disciples - written for church leaders, born-again believers, and pastors ready for something costlier and more permanent than attendance.
