Bridge Jumper

Chief Detective Alberto Jose Cargile is searching for the elusive bridge jumper, Elvira, in the boulder strewn river. Meanwhile suicide rumors are circulating in Trissa negatively impacting tourism.
The same morning Alex, driving a Jeep, accidentally backs into a Jaguar while exchanging a bag of bracelets with Two Fingers, a dubious buyer. Driving the Jaguar, Serena, arrives for a pot smoking weekend but instead is struck ending up in the hospital. Jake, a confused Afghan vet with PTSD, witnesses the accident and finds himself in the middle of the street holding a roll of hundred-dollar bills and a loaded gun. More detectives are called into action!
Everyone involved in the accident disappears from the scene leaving the abandoned Jaguar and Jeep. Detective Cargile finds Serena, the recovered socialite spending, hours gazing at a mother and daughter portrait at an art gallery, while Two Fingers is on a destructive rampage searching for his bracelets and his roll of money.
The chief of police, Aquino Chavez Smith, pressures Alberto to immediately squash all speculative rumors and solve the two mysteries. Why does Detective Cargile believe the lonely bridge jumper and the vehicular accident with the stash of money and bracelets are connected?
