Born from the Flame

They broke the ancient oath that kept dragons obedient.

Now their enemy has found a way to turn freedom into a weapon.

Talyra Skyrend carries the first flame, a powerful magic that was never meant to belong to one person.

Skorren Scaleborn has abandoned the Academy that raised him, but discovering that his supposedly dead brother is still alive draws him into a dangerous search beneath the ancient Sky Gates.

And Yvrek is waiting.

With a stolen ember and forbidden command magic, the former Rider-Master threatens the fragile freedom Talyra and Skorren fought to create.

As a grounded city struggles to rebuild, dragons face renewed enslavement, and the bond between Talyra and Skorren becomes dangerously vulnerable to the enemy hunting them.

Their love was born through rebellion.

Now they must prove that even the strongest bond cannot survive without the freedom to choose.

Born from the Flame is Book Two of The Rider Who Would Not Kneel, a steamy adult dragon rider fantasy romance featuring an established couple, powerful dragon bonds, ancient magic, family secrets, political rebellion, emotional intimacy, open-door romance and a continuing love story.

Talyra and Skorren's journey concludes in Book Three, The Ignited Throne.
