The planet Criole. A planet where monsters roam the land, spawned of the evil in men's hearts and an ether of Magick that runs through the earth, sky and inhabitants. Humans live out their lives as governments bicker and squabble over petty differences and selfish drives for the lust of conquest. Into the midst of all of this chaos steps Marcus Endman, sought out by the young paladin Yoloka Mito.
