Inspired by the children I worked with, And the Lamb Spoke: Lessons from the Gospels is about a boy named Basil who is sent to a children's home. After an incident with another child, Basil runs into the forest to get away from his troubles. Then, a Lamb appears. Basil has questions about life and the Lamb answers Basil's questions with Jesus's teachings found in the Gospels. The book has 15 lessons about topics such as love, giving and forgiveness. Each lesson is complemented with a living forest narrative that is sure to keep children engaged while teaching them. For ages 7 to 9, but adults can enjoy and learn from it, too! Half of my profit will be spent on activities for the children of Saint Basil Academy in Garrison, NY.
