Vom Almauftrieb im Frühsommer bis zum Almabtrieb im Herbst und zum winterlichen Ausflug auf die trendige Alm-Skihütte geht s im Jahreskreis almauf, almab. Dabei eröffnen sich zahlreiche Geschichten über das Almleben und die Alminger , die so unterschiedlich sie auch sind alle eines gemeinsam haben: Sie fühlen sich auf ihrer Alm sehr nah am Himmel. Meistens jedenfalls. Denn auch von schlechten Zeiten, verregneten Sommern, verletzten Tieren, unsinnigen EU-Verordnungen und lästigen Touristen können die Almleute etwas erzählen.Solange die Straße nicht gebaut ist, deuten die Hirten in gemütlicher Runde gern zum Hüttenfenster hinaus und sagen: "Joi, schauts, da kommt ein Auto!" Dann gibt es jedesmal großes Gelächter, denn irgendein Almneuling fällt immer auf den Witz herein. An diesem Tag des Almauftriebs war das zufällig ich. ein Lesebuch, das in eine andere Welt entführt 31 Almporträts, mit Charme und Gefühl erzählt faszinierende Einblicke in den Alltag auf der Alm ergänzt durch Interviews mit vielen Hintergrundinformationen begleitet von stimmungsvollen Farbfotos
