Agamemnon Falling

Agamemnon Falling is the second novel in the completed seven-book House of Atreus saga, a sweeping blend of Greek mythology, historical epic, science fiction, and dark fantasy that reimagines the legendary fall of Bronze Age Greece as humanity's first encounter with beings once mistaken for gods.

He conquered Troy. History remembers the victory, but forgot the price.

Ten years after sacrificing his daughter at Aulis, Agamemnon is finally sailing home. Troy has fallen. His enemies are dead. His name is already legend.

But the war at Troy was never the true battle.

Aboard the homeward fleet, the Trojan prophetess Cassandra reveals the truth Agamemnon was never meant to learn. Apollo. Artemis. The oracles. The voices that shaped kings and kingdoms. But they were never gods at all. Only ancient intelligences manipulating humanity through prophecy, fear, and carefully engineered belief.

Waiting in Mycenae is the woman who once loved Agamemnon but witnessed everything. She watched him raise a knife above their thirteen-year-old daughter. She buried that grief while he fought in Troy.

For ten years she ruled alone.

For ten years she prepared.

The ships are entering the harbor. The crimson tapestries have been laid. The bath has been drawn. The knife is waiting.

It is the same knife that took his daughter.
