The performance of automotive electrical equipment requires new technologies. 42-volt electrical systems will be introduced within 5 years, but still the safety and reliability of such systems need to be tested and further improved. The book examines several aspects of testing and safety of these new components and systems, specifically dealing with safety and testing of powerlines and components, fault diagnosis and precautions to avoid systems failure.
