Lost Europe, nejrozsáhlejší publikace 400 ASA, obsahuje bezmála 150 černobílých dokumentárních fotografií tří autorů z Ukrajiny z období od počátku devadesátých let až do současnosti. Fotografie Karla Cudlína, Jana Dobrovského a Martina Wágnera doplňuje text novinářky Petry Procházkové. Publikace vyšla v angličtině s vloženým českým textem. Lost Europe, zatím nejrozsáhlejší publikace vydaná 400 ASA, obsahuje bezmála 150 černobílých dokumentárních fotografií tří autorů z Ukrajiny z období od počátku devadesátých let až do současnosti. Fotografové zachycují zemi s dramatickou historií jako místo připomínající poetiku života, který nenávratně mizí. Jako připomínku samozřejmosti starých časů před globalizací. Jako dokument života ze dne na den, který sami autoři komentují: „Fotografie v této knize zachytily mizející svět. Vlastně jeho konec, který není ani tragický, ale ani se nepodobá happy endu. Je to procházka do minulosti, zachycení opravdovosti, po které se nám stýská, ale už bychom ji neuměli, ani nechtěli žít.“ „Knihu Lost Europe považuji za jednu z nejlepších dokumentárních publikací, jaké kdy u nás vyšly. Až tehdy, když obyvatel sytého a nafoukaného pupku planety, co si říká Evropa, rty přisátými k tlustostěnné sklence s místní samohonkou, pronikne i do těch nejtemnějších zákoutí ukrajinského bytí. Lost Europe, the most extensive book published so far by 400 ASA, contains almost 150 black-and-white documentary photographs from Ukraine by three authors from the early 1990s to the present. Photographs by Karel Cudlín, Jan Dobrovský, and Martin Wágner are accompanied by the text of journalist Petra Procházková. Graphic design of the book is work of Zuzana Lednická of Studio Najbrt. Photographers capture a country with a dramatic history as a place reminiscent of the poetics of a life that is disappearing forever. As a reminder of the simple old days before globalization.
